I want to accept a runner into my team but I can't
There are three reasons why you may not be able to 'accept' your runner.
The runner has their own place. Check the application of the runner, if in column ‘Own Place’ you can see YES, the runner has stated they have their own place you will not need to give them a place.
You can confirm with the runner that this is correct. If the runner made a mistake on their application you can raise a ticket here and request the application is updated. Following this action the runners status will be put back to 'reviewed' allowing you to once again 'Accept' the runner which this time will allocate a place from your availability.
The runner has been accepted for a team already. A message is displayed alerting you that the runner has a place already in this event. You cannot accept a runner who already has a place i.e has been accepted to another team.
Tip: Confirm this is correct with the runner, the runner may need to contact the team they have been accepted by if they have accepted a place with your team.
You allocated all your places. Check how many places you have available in the breakdown section at the top of the page. If all your places have been allocated you will not be able to accept any further applications.
