How do I approve a runner who hasn't reached the 75% fundraising milestone on the realbuzz Charity Console?
Runners who are not quite at the 75% milestone must be approved by their chosen charity in order to receive their code and complete registration. Here's how you approve a runner.
- STEP 1: access your dashboard on the Charity Console
- STEP 2: if a runner is fundraising, you will see a '...' action button next to their record
- STEP 3: Click this action button and select 'Allow code to be allocated'
- STEP 4: You will see a dialogue box which explains that once you allow a code to be allocated, an email will be sent automatically to the runner to allow them to redeem their code from the realbuzz Runner Dashboard. Once this action is completed, and you click 'Allow', it cannot be undone
Some important points for using this feature:
- This feature has been added so that you can approve a runner, ahead of registration closing for their event, if they are not yet at the 75% milestone but you feel they should receive their code anyway so they can run for you.
- As an event registration deadline approaches, you will receive a notification that you have runners to review if you have runners in the dashboard, wishing to take part in the relevant event, who have not yet reached the 75% fundraising milestone.
- Once you click this button, you are agreeing to give entry to the runner and therefore the 75% invoice will be invoked.
What happens if I don't want to accept a runner?
- Runners who are not approved for allocation before the deadline will be withdrawn or deferred as agreed with them - realbuzz manages this process so there is no action needed from the charity.
