How does ‘run with realbuzz’ work for runners?

Including information on fundraising milestones and targets.

For runners, they choose their event and select their chosen charity and then they have to pay a refundable holding deposit to reserve their place. In their welcome emails, they will be advised of key dates including when they need to have completed their fundraising target and when the event registration closes as well as having a free account generated for them so they can access their realbuzz runner dashboard.

Runners are advised that their place is guaranteed as long as they reach the fundraising target – they are advised that once they reach 75% of the fundraising target, their unique entry code will be issued, but they will need to reach this milestone before the deadline for official event registration for their chosen event.

The realbuzz Customer Support team will regularly audit their progress towards their fundraising goal and they’ll receive regular communications from us with ideas and tips for supercharging their fundraising.

Once the code is issued, the runner still needs to complete official registration, on the event’s official website, and will be issued instructions on how to do this. If a runner does not reach the fundraising target they can defer or withdraw but the charity does not pay for a runner who doesn’t meet the target. The runner’s deposit is refundable only if they meet 100% or more of the fundraising target and they receive their deposit refund 14 days after the event.
