Why and how to add fundraising URLs to the realbuzz Charity Console?

Adding fundraising URLs for your Accepted runners means the fundraising impact for the event is automatically tracked. Here's how to do it.

Once you have Accepted a runner on the Console, we strongly recommend you add the fundraising page URL for the runner. This means you can see their fundraising progress within the Console. Likewise, our major event partners contractually require a final fundraising impact report from our charities and their runners, so this saves administration at the end of the campaign!

You do this by navigating to the '...' menu and choosing 'Update fundraising page' option.

The system will prompt you to add the URL as per the below:

Once the URL is logged, you will see a total amount raised for the runner as we have an 'auto-scraping' tool which looks at the fundraising page and logs the amount.

This means that the realbuzz Charity Console is even more of a one-stop shop to manage your runners and keep an eye on their progress.

Please note, that for domestic charities participating in the Irish Life Dublin Marathon, the fundraising URL is automatically generated and stored for runners supporting your charity so no action is required.
